O'driscoll and Allen: Stormwater Runoff Response Modelling in the Coastal Plain and Barrier Island Settings This project initiated work towards modelling stormwater runoff response and hydrology in the Coastal Plain and Barrier Island settings of North Carolina. Considerable progress has been made using the TOPMODEL framework (Beven et. al) and modified, custom versions thereof. As work progresses, this page will be updated. Impervious Surface Area maps: Creation of accurate ISA maps is a
first step in understanding the urban hydrology of both model
settings. These maps will be used to compare sites and also assess
potential changes in hydrology caused by the urban “layer”.
